As a child (and teen) I would have done anything to get out of eating cabbage boiled with onions and carrots. It was a weekly staple served along with Ugali or rice. With each spoonful, my eyes welled up with tears. Meh! Terrible stuff!
It took me a while to get over my ‘cabbagophobia’. I am happy to announce, I now love cabbage (cooked right). I hope you give this a go and don’t forget to let me know how it goes.

This recipe definitely proves, simplicity is the best.
Ingredients
- 1/4 Cabbage sliced
- 1 Onions
- 1 Carrots
- Coriander
- Chilli optional
